Barcelona... perfect beaches, world-famous tapas, and is a Mediterranean dream. Barcelona’s true crown jewel is the iconic creations of Antoni Gaudí, like the incredible Basilica of La Sagrada Familia. It's a giant Basilica that has been under construction since 1882.

For out-of-town travelers, we will meet you at the terminal at the Toronto Pearsons Airport.

Sept 19 Barri Gotic and La Rambla

  • Enjoy visual treasures inside the Picasso Museum.

Walking Tour of the Markets

  • Let your senses come alive by stopping at La Boquería market, officially known as the Mercat de Sant Josep de La Boquería, but more commonly known as La Boquería. This huge public market is one of the city’s most famous tourist landmarks.

  • Spend the evening admiring the sunset, with a 360-degree view of Barcelona, enjoying a picnic and a drink. (Bring a warmer jacket, just in case).

Sept 20   Costa Brava

    • Free Day, or come hang out with us Snorkeling and Kayaking on the sparkling emerald waters of Costa Brava.

Sept 21  Three Countries in One Day

Visit Andorra, France, and Spain in a single day on a tour from Barcelona that takes in historic architecture, gorgeous mountain landscapes, and three distinctive cultures. If your time is limited, choosing a guided tour ensures you see more than you would on your own, from breakfast in Spain to lunch in a traditional French restaurant (own expense), with a series of fascinating sightseeing stops throughout the day.

Sept 22  Sagrada Familia Basilica and Park Guell

    • Today we take an adventure of Antoni Gaudi's dreamlike works... entering a cathedral like no other, Sagrada Familia Basilica.

  • One of the most extravagant housing estates ever imagined but never came to be. We will walk the enchanting space left of Gaudi's original project, Park Guell.
  • Free Evening or enjoy some traditional Spanish cuisine in the form of tapas and later admire Spain's foremost musicians and flamenco dancers.

Sept 23 Creations by Antoni Gaudí and Castell de Montjuïc

  • Discovering two more architectural works created by Antoni Gaudi.
  • Montjuic Castle is a fortress with a 360º view of the city below.

Casa Batlló
(if you choose to go inside, $40CND/person)

  • Example of what we will see... from the outside, the façade of Casa Batlló looks like it has been made from skulls and bones. The "Skulls" are, in fact, balconies, and the "bones" are supporting pillars. Gaudí used colors and shapes found in marine life to inspire his creativity in this building, e.g., the colors chosen for the façade are those found in natural coral.
