Journey of a Soul

First, you must believe. Second, you must pass the evaluation.

Lexi Constantine had plans for her life. She wanted to become a successful fashion designer—not communicate with the dead, hide from the mob, or discover that Heaven and Hell may be far more real than she ever imagined.

But everything changes when her older sister, Susannah, dies unexpectedly.

Soon after her death, Lexi is shaken by a vivid and terrifying dream that feels less like a nightmare and more like a desperate plea for help. Susannah has not simply died. Her soul is trapped, and something in the darkness wants to claim it.

Searching for answers leads Lexi to Tamara, a wise and powerful psychic medium who introduces her to a world of spirits, ghosts, metaphysics, and abilities Lexi never knew she possessed. Even Reverend Hawthorne, initially concerned about the path Lexi is following, finds himself drawn into a rescue mission that challenges everything he thought he understood about faith and the afterlife.

Then Lexi learns another devastating truth: Susannah’s death may not have been an accident.

With Detective Redington investigating connections to organized crime, Lexi suddenly finds herself caught between dangers in two worlds. While the mob hunts the living, something far more sinister is hunting the dead.

To save Susannah, Lexi must learn to distinguish between the forces surrounding her, trust an intuition she barely understands, and confront one extraordinary question:

How do you convince a soul to believe?

Inspired by author and medium Dr. Constance Santego’s own spiritual experiences, Journey of a Soul blends paranormal suspense, spiritual mystery, adventure, humour, and metaphysical exploration into a story about love, faith, the afterlife, and the unseen connections that may continue long after death.

Journey of a Soul is Book One of The Nine Spiritual Gifts series, introducing The Gift of Distinguishing Spirits and beginning Lexi’s journey into the extraordinary gifts we may have carried within us all along.
