Golden Turmeric Broth

A warming, grounding broth for inflammation support, joint comfort, and winter restoration

This broth is simple but powerful. Turmeric supports inflammation balance, while warm liquid and gentle fats help the body absorb and receive its benefits without stimulation.

Why This Broth Helps in Winter

  • Turmeric supports inflammation balance
  • Warm liquid supports circulation and comfort
  • Gentle fat improves absorption
  • Light but deeply restorative

Ingredients

(Simple and flexible)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, coconut oil, or ghee
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
(or 1–2 inches fresh turmeric, sliced)
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 6–8 cups water or light vegetable broth
  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional:
    • Squeeze of lemon
    • Splash of coconut milk

How to Make It

  1. Warm the oil
Heat oil gently in a pot over medium-low heat.
  2. Bloom the spices
Add turmeric, ginger, and black pepper. Stir gently for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add liquid
    Pour in water or broth.
  4. Simmer gently
Simmer 15–25 minutes. Do not boil hard.
  5. Season softly
Add salt to taste. Finish with lemon or coconut milk if desired.

Low-Energy Option

  • Skip blooming—add everything directly to water
  • Simmer longer instead of stirring
  • Drink as is

How to Use This Broth

  • Sip warm in the morning or afternoon
  • Use during joint stiffness or inflammation
  • Alternate with mineral or miso broth

Winter Reset Note

This broth supports winter healing by warming the body without overstimulation. It’s especially helpful when pain, stiffness, or deep fatigue accompany seasonal low mood.

Slow warmth heals deeply.
Gentle consistency matters.
