Ingredients

- 4–6 cups water
- 1–2 tablespoons white or mellow miso paste
- Optional:
- Sliced green onions
- Small piece of wakame seaweed
- Soft tofu cubes
How to Make It
- Heat the water
Warm water in a pot until hot but not boiling. - Remove from heat
Turn off heat before adding miso. - Dissolve miso
Mix miso in a small bowl with warm water, then stir into the pot. - Add optional ingredients
Add green onions, seaweed, or tofu if using. - Serve warm
Do not boil after adding miso.
