Simple Miso Broth for Digestion

This broth is intentionally simple. It supports digestion and emotional steadiness without taxing the system. It’s ideal for days when food feels like too much but warmth and nourishment are still needed.

Ingredients

(Keep it minimal)

  • 4–6 cups water
  • 1–2 tablespoons white or mellow miso paste
  • Optional:
    • Sliced green onions
    • Small piece of wakame seaweed
    • Soft tofu cubes

How to Make It

  1. Heat the water
    Warm water in a pot until hot but not boiling.
  2. Remove from heat
    Turn off heat before adding miso.
  3. Dissolve miso
    Mix miso in a small bowl with warm water, then stir into the pot.
  4. Add optional ingredients
    Add green onions, seaweed, or tofu if using.
  5. Serve warm
    Do not boil after adding miso.

Low-Energy Option

  • Dissolve miso directly into a mug of hot water
  • Skip all add-ins
